I’m writing this because I also wanted to thank the two of you for being so inclusive with our daughter. She is a very sweet girl. Thank you for not looking at her as a child with disabilities or special needs and just treating her with kindness and giving her the opportunity to have so much fun with peers! I wanted to mention how appreciative I also am that the last two years the charities you pick benefit kids with special needs in our community. She actually works at the gathering place two times a month with her class. They gather bags together to give out such as personal needs or little snack bags. It’s a great opportunity for them. She’s also in the best buddies program, which was last year‘s recipient of your generous donations. Again, I wanna thank you so much for all you do for her. She has really shined and it was so nice to see her as a typical dancer up there with her peers! She has grown tremendously at dance connection. Thanks again you two! love Mama E.

I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to fully express what DC has meant for Emma, and our family.
Thinking back to when she was just 3 years old, you were such a safe and nurturing presence for her. I always trusted you, your mom, and your grandmother to protect her and give her space to experience the joy and healing of dance.
As she grew older, dance became a way for her to express emotions that words couldn’t capture. You challenged her, supported her, and helped shape her into the strong, determined, and mature young woman she is today. I truly cannot thank you enough.
Dance is such an integral part of who she is, and she will carry a piece of DC with her to Ohio State next year. She is going to miss you so much!

My daughter danced in “Running up that Hill” and “Bye Bye Bye” at the last recital and we were blown away! This is her second year dancing there and we are so happy we found your studio! Thank you for all you do! The recital was incredible!

My daughter has danced there for almost 10 years. She feels like it is a home away from home. The staff is super kind and encouraging. They have really helped her break out of her shell and have made her feel like she is part of something really good. They have taught her great skills and helped build up her confidence. They have taught her the value of charity work and made her feels a sense of responsibility to her community. We hope to be there for at least 10 more years.

Thank you so much to you and your staff for helping us mold Taylor into the person she has become. Because of dance, she has gotten great parts as a dancer in theater starting as early as 3rd grade and on. She also played several leads and main characters in several theater productions because she is a triple threat as a singer, actor, and dancer. You all should be honored for all the lives you've helped mold.

To our Dance Connection Family.
Where to begin?! Saturday night was simply extraordinary. My wife and I were so moved by the energy and generosity of the Dance Connection community. It was inspiring to behold the positivity and spirit that define and drive your dancers. And to see a sea of hundreds who came out on a Saturday night to support the Rochester Imagination Library through dance made our month. Plus we had a blast watching!
