Melania's Story for PBS contest
The Girl Who Loved to Dance
By Melania (6 years old)
There was a girl who loved to dance and sing with her friends and family. Her name was Melania. She wanted to become a professional dancer. Dance Connection was her dance studio and she like going to be able to dance with her friends. Her dance teachers name was Ms. Denise. Melania was getting ready for her third recital. Melania made sure never to miss a dance class so she could earn perfect attendance. She wondered how tall the trophies were for every year of perfect attendance. Melania loved dancing so much that she practiced every day and she became better and better. Melania continued to work hard so all her dreams could come true.
